Exporting from Sword and Shield

To import models from Sword and Shield, you'll first need to use an external tool like Switch Toolbox to export the model in Collada (.dae) format.

  1. Extract the RomFS from the Sword/Shield XCI (you can find guides on Google)
  2. Open the .gfpak for the model you want to import with File - Open. Pokémon models are located in the folder romfs/bin/archive/pokemon and you can find a list with names here.
  3. Find the model under Quick Access in the left tab. The first file contains the regular model while the second file contains the Shiny model.
  4. Right click the model in the list and select Export Model.
  5. Select the path you want to save the model to. Do not change the suggested file name since the importer relies on . You can use the default export settings.
